Rebecca Lando Brings Good Food to Tables on a Budget - American Express #PassionProject (by AmericanExpress)
If you go to AmericanExpress.com right now (part me is thinking of shouting, DON’T! DON’T DO IT! PLEASE DON’T) you’ll see…me.
Luckily, American Express is really nice people and didn’t care at all that I only make dumb faces.
In all seriousness, though, I was very skeptical about doing something with a big corporation when I was approached to take part in AmEx’s #PassionProject, and I hit the nice people who called me with my toughest questions. I mean, Tom Brokaw woulda been proud. And AmEx’s response was the best response a creator could ask for: they just wanted to show people what I love doing. Even the fine print said just that.
Why am I telling you all this? Because I care very much about only giving you guys good recipes, good advice, and good information. And I feel comfortable saying that AmEx’s #passionproject is letting me share all of those things not only with you guys, but also to - hopefully - many other people who are just like us:
people who want to save money,
people who care about how their food affects the environment,
and people who, above all, just want to eat well.
So please, please check out these videos. There are recipes in them. And cute dogs. And zero credit cards.
And absolutely send me a message or a fan mail or whatever Tumblr calls those things these days and let me know: what’s your Passion Project?
