Hi, and thank you! I use Final Cut Pro 7. I’ve been editing in Final Cut since the first version came out back when I was a snotty little 17 year old. (Not to say that 17 year olds are by definition snotty, or that Final Cut editors are necessarily snotty, just that I was. But, anyway.)

I know a lot of YouTubers do some amazing editing in iMovie, which to me is a totally befuddling program, and I hear great things about Adobe Premiere and I know PC users are pretty into Sony Vegas and there’s room for debate on Final Cut X and, personally, I loathe Avid/Avid Express and refused to learn how to use them in college because Final Cut Pro was just so much more intuitive to me, but what I’m really trying to say is find the editing program that makes the most sense to you and that you enjoy working in because editing is time-consuming and, anyway, if you’re a good editor you’ll be a good editor no matter what software you use/buy/illegally download.

I probably shouldn’t try to answer questions when I’m suffering under the haze of a killer hangover. So it goes.
