Why $8/Person? That seems like a lot for one meal!
$8 is the price of an average lunch special in New York City, where our show is based. That being said, our recipes generally come in around $4/person.

Have any of your dishes ever gone over budget?
Yes, but only once - on Thanksgiving. Not a very normal meal to begin with!

Why isn’t Max in every episode? I miss him!

We miss Max being a part of every episode, too! Although Max was in New York for all of Season 1, he is currently working in theater back home in Sarasota, FL. But he’s still around and still very much a part of Working Class Foodies!

Where can I find the recipes from your show?
Right here, as convenient, downloadable PDFs. Enjoy!

What camera do you use on Working Class Foodies?
We shoot on the Canon 5DMarkII, although some of the earliest episodes were shot on the Canon HV30.

I love the music! Who’s it by and where can I find it?
Thanks! Our music is by two great friends of ours: The Bicycats (Zachary Bernstein) and Walri. Show them some love!

This vegetarian/vegan/lactose-free recipe doesn’t contain enough protein/fat/Vitamin B. Can you fix this?
Unfortunately, no. While we do try to create recipes for a variety of dietary needs and preferences, we are amateur cooks, NOT nutritionists. If you believe your diet is not giving you proper & adequate nutrition, we highly recommend you talk to your doctor, a nutritionist or a dietician. Stay healthy!

Can you tweak this week’s recipe to fit my specific dietary needs?
We are very conscious of everyone’s various dietary needs, so we do try to suggest diet-friendly alternatives to our dishes. However, we are NOT nutritionists and we are NOT professional, trained chefs, so please double-check our advice if you have any dietary restrictions!

I submitted a dish request to you and you never made it! What gives?
We love getting requests from you guys and wish we could fulfill them all, but, unfortunately, we can’t fit everything in. If you really need some advice on a dish or a little recipe help, send us an email and we’ll do the best we can for you.

What is Humphrey’s favorite food?
MUFFINS. Not even kidding. Banana peanut butter muffins are his favorite but he’d take a berry muffin over a slice of bacon. He’s weird.

How do you guys define ‘working class’?
Simply put, anyone who must work in order to meet the basics of survival (shelter, water, food), regardless of what industry you work in, whether or not you have a college education, or if you’re interested in the arts. The way we see it, most of us are working class, which (manifesto time!) doesn’t mean we can’t eat like we’re upper class.

Are you currently accepting book deals/agent requests/production offers/licensing offers/business proposals?
Yes; please contact us directly with your proposals.

Can you guys cater my wedding/bar mitzvah/graduation/party?
We’d be honored to take part in your celebration. Contact us directly with more information.
