ericapiper asked: I love your videos and recipes! Everything looks so delicious, and I love how you use fresh, seasonal ingredients. I am definitely giving those biscotti a try this weekend! I'll post the results to my goodhappyfit blog, and I'll be sure to let you know how they turn out. :)

Anonymous asked: I was just watching your pantry & stock episode. I noticed you said you keep iodized salt in your pantry, but the salt you showed is kosher salt! which do you use and why?

captainhatch asked: Hello! I'm making pasties for part of an assessment at school. However, I've found a recipe I really like except it includes pumpkins which aren't particularly common apart from Halloween time. So, what would you recommend as a filling to go with onion? It's a winter-warmer type theme, to be eaten at a Halloween party or Bonfire Night kind of family get-together. Thank you! (:

My friends Nick Suarez (and sous Theo Peck) of The Food Experiments went up against Bobby Flay in a hotdog throwdown. Nick’s piri-piri rubbed, bacon-leek mac’n’cheese-covered hot dog is one of the most awesome, low/hi-brow, decadent things I’ve ever eaten.
I’m also all over the episode. Um, yay?
